The City of Sioux Falls says street work will close part of South Technology Drive starting Tuesday, October 27, and restrict a lane on South Cliff Avenue beginning Wednesday, October 28, according to its October 26 announcement.
The City says South Technology Drive will be closed between 53rd Street and Valhalla Drive while the Street Division replaces asphalt following a main break. Business access will remain available, and the work is expected to finish by 6 p.m. October 27, the announcement says.
On Cliff Avenue, the outside northbound lane will close from Crestview Drive to 49th Street for concrete repairs, the City says. In the coming days, additional lane closures are planned between Tomar Road and the entrance to Tuthill Park, with at least one lane of traffic in each direction remaining open, according to the announcement.
The City says the Cliff Avenue work is expected to take one week, weather permitting. For both work areas, the City urges drivers to use caution and reduced speeds near construction and says they may want to consider alternate routes.
