Constitutional Amendment IAn Amendment to the South Dakota Constitution that Repeals Expanded Medicaid Coverage if Federal Funding for the Program Drops below 90%.
South Dakota has expanded Medicaid for people who meet the program’s rules. This would end that coverage if the federal government paid less than 90% of its cost.
- If Yes wins
- A yes vote means expanded Medicaid coverage would end if federal funding for it fell below 90%.
- If No wins
- A no vote means the Constitution would not add this condition. Expanded Medicaid would not end under this amendment if federal funding dropped below 90%.

Constitutional Amendment JAn amendment to the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, clarifying that an individual must be a citizen of the United States to be eligible to vote.
The amendment says a person must be a U.S. citizen to be eligible to vote. It would put that rule in the state Constitution.

- A yes vote means the state Constitution would say that only U.S. citizens are eligible to vote.
- If No wins
- A no vote means the Constitution would not add this citizenship rule for voting.

Constitutional Amendment KAn amendment to the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, establishing the trust for unclaimed property fund.
The state holds money or property when it cannot find the owner. This amendment would create a trust fund for unclaimed property money.

- A yes vote means the Constitution would create a trust for unclaimed property funds.
- If No wins
- A no vote means the Constitution would not create this trust fund.

Constitutional Amendment LAn amendment to the Constitution of the State of South Dakota, requiring that a constitutional amendment receive an affirmative vote of sixty percent of the votes cast before the measure is enacted.
Today, voters decide whether a proposed change to the state Constitution passes under the current rules. This would require at least 60% of votes cast to approve a constitutional amendment.

- A yes vote means at least 60% of votes cast would have to support a proposed constitutional amendment for it to pass.
- If No wins
- A no vote means a constitutional amendment would continue to need the approval required under current rules, not 60% under this proposal.
